The Bhojpur RIS platform is an open source software product built by research & development team to offer a re-configurable intelligent surface (RIS) or intelligent reflecting surfaces (IRS) or meta-surface antenna management system for the Open-RAN, AI-enhanced, fully distributed wireless communication network operators. Our software-as-a-service offering enables easy network configuration, deployment of massive-MIMO (i.e. multiple-input, multiple-output) antenna solutions in sub-6 THz bands, and inventory management of software-defined meta-materials in emerging 6G Network environment. Such meta-materials could be controlled remotely to reconfigure reflective index of passive elements using a RIS controller connected to the radio network to achieve higher bandwidth rates (e.g. in THz range), better spectral and energy efficiency of radio propagation. In wireless communication, the RIS passive elements reduce sensitivity to blockages, path-loss, and coverage issues.
Our software product is available in multiple deployment options and developed primarily using GraphQL APIs, React Framework for web-frontend, Nest.js Framework based API backend-engine, Node.js, and Typescript programming language, micro-services, and features a collection of pre-integrated services.
